Wow! That 30 Day Meme took me about a million years to finish, but at least I finished it! I am glad that I got through it even though it took so much longer than it was supposed to.
I guess now that the task is over, I need to start thinking about the future of my blog. I love having my blog as a general journal, and I really am happy to continue doing it. I really feel like, to have a successful blog, you have to define what a successful blog is to you. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't love to have thousands of followers on a money-making blog. But, the truth of the matter is, I'd much rather keep my small following of caring bloggers rather than have a hoard of people ready to criticize my every key stroke.
That being said, I think a truly successful blog for me is one that I can scroll through to relive some of my favorite memories. I think I'm doing a fairly good job at that right now, but I feel like I miss out on recording some things. It's sometimes hard to remember to make memories in the small, every day occurrences in my life and that's what I want to focus on. It'd be great to have a blog full of travel photos and exciting events, but who lives a life of nothing but travel and exciting events? Not me!
My 29th birthday is coming up in a few days and I really want to document my last year in my 20's somehow. This blog would be the perfect outlet, but I'm not sure that that is the answer. I'm still mulling it over because I literally have less than a week to figure it out!! I don't know what's in store for this blog, but I'm sure it'll be fun and I'm sure it'll be full of great, every-day, joyous memories!!
