Hands down, no questions about it, no contest. My favorite movie of all time is "The Nightmare Before Christmas". I just love everything about this movie; the story line, the imagery, the dialogue, the feeling, everything is just perfect. It may be the appeal of anything Tim Burton or Henry Selick touches. I think it's most likely because I have a little bit of a dark side and this movie brings it out to the surface a bit. The stop-animation movies are usually my faves as "Corpse Bride" and "James and the Giant Peach" rank up there, but TNBC is the best of them all. I wouldn't doubt if, at 65 years old, I'm hunkered down with my grandchildren having a Tim Burton/Henry Selick stop-animation movie marathon with TNBC being the main attraction. And I guarantee that I will LOVE every minute of it!!
