This Busy Life!

Mommy and her Princess!

Such a girly-girl.  She loves her hair bows!

MM behind the grill!  Hubba-hubba!

Coloring with Auntie Munky!  What fun!!

Waiting for Daddy to get home.

Bed-head!

Cuddles on the sofa.

Feeling a bit lazy in the morning.  Too hilarious.

Watching her Daddy work outside.
We have been so busy lately that I just haven't made the time to sit down and blog about the busy-ness.  Long story short; our days are full but are so blessed!!  Thank you, God, for this amazing life!!

Day Eleven: A Photo Of You Taken Recently

I admit, I could have made this post a while ago, but I didn't want to. I knew we were heading on a mini vacation and wanted to post a pic from that. This is a great one. We were on our way to Lincoln, NM to check out the location of the infamous Lincoln County War. Well, MM was whistling. A lot. This face was the result. Enjoy!

Day Ten: A Photo of You Taken Over Ten Years Ago

This is my favorite picture EVER of my older sister, Karen, and I. We were at my Baba's house on the couch. She used to watch us while our parents were at work. We had TONS of fun there and she is the best cook ever. I learned my mad cooking skillz from her. :)

So, the 30 Day Meme is turning into a flop, but I will try to keep coming and finishing it up. I'm already planning tomorrow's post!

Day Nine: A Photo You Took

I took this picture while we were on vacation in SC. I took a lot of pics that I like on that trip, but this one was my favorite.

Day Seven: A Photo That Makes You Happy

Is there anything better? I think not.

P.S. I am out of town for the next two days, so my 30 Day Meme will be put on hold until I get back on Friday. "See" you then!

Fun Festivities

New Year's Eve was so much fun that it's taken me five full days to recover from it! (Or maybe I was just really lazy and didn't get around to blogging!) Jason and I never seem to do the same thing for New Year's. Last year we went to a party, but this year we decided that we just wanted it to be the two of us. We had a grand old time and almost made it to 12:00 a.m.! Lol!

The evening started with steaks on the grill and baked sweet potatoes with cinnamon butter. We also had salads...natch. After dinner, we lit up the fire ring and just sat and sat and sat. It was pretty much the perfect way to end 2008.

Being me, I had the camera ready and got some of the best, funniest pictures of Jason I that I've gotten in a long time. I'm sure other women can relate; why is it so hard to get a good picture with our men??

(Finally, a good one!)

Well, the end of that night capped off a great year. I'm so ready for 2009, the first five days have already been amazing! I'm so blessed and I can't imagine what God has in store for us this year.

Happy reading and many blessings!
