Day Twenty-Seven: Your Month in Great Detail

Let's see. I could barely remember what's gone on for the last week, so it'll be interesting to see what I remember from the last month!

I'll start from the middle of June and go from there.

Mid-June through end of June: Not much really went on. I worked on the garden a lot and MM worked around the house some. We had a roof inspection to see if we qualified for a claim for a new roof after a pretty decent hail storm. At work, we had property protest hearings for 2 days. It was a bust. Barely anyone showed up and we spent the days bored and waiting.

July 2 - 5: We were in RR, TX visiting my family. We always seem to end up there for July 4th weekend ever since we moved out here. It was A LOT of fun! MM went fishing with Dad twice and they had moderate luck. Mom and I shopped a lot and I got a new bathing suit so that I could start going to water aerobics. We also went to Ikea and scored two work tables for $20 each. I love that place! We got a chance to eat at several places including Pei-Wei, Freebirds and La Madeleine while we were there. It was our first time at Freebirds and we're big fans now!

Early July - We got home and rested and started getting MM's "man" room set up to accommodate me as well. We want a dedicated guest room and that room will (hopefully) be easy to transition into a nursery. MM sorted through and discarded A LOT of his stuff and I did the same. He set up his new fly-tying bench and storage system and cleared a spot for a craft desk for me. It's great to be in there together and he's honestly happy to have me in there with him. I also started going to water aerobics with a coworker and we LOVE it! I'm glad I was able to find a bathing suit in RR or I'd really be missing out.

That pretty much brings us up to this post which detailed the past week. Typing out all that stuff is so weird because it feels like it was forever ago!

I hope you're all doing well! I'm happy this week is almost over and am looking forward to a relaxing (for a change) weekend!
