This is my wonderful new coffee pot. It can be set to make coffee at whatever time I want it to. Isn't that glorious? I really needed that automatic timer this morning!
Last night was one of worst nights of sleep either of has had in a while. We were both wide awake at midnight for some reason, but forced ourselves to lay down and chat until we both dozed off. Then, at about 2:45 a.m., a huge thunder-spectacle hit that had us both awake for an hour. We finally fell back to sleep, but we were some cranky, groggy people this morning when it was time to wake up!!
I was grateful that my automatic coffee maker had a full pot ready and waiting for me this morning. I don't know if I would have made it out the door on time if it hadn't been!
We both made it through the day, though I admit I was in a bit of a fog and I'm not quite sure of the quality of the work I did. I'm sure we're in for a nice, comfortable sleep tonight and that we will wake up refreshed and ready to go tomorrow morning!
