A talent of mine? Hmmmm...that's a tough one. I really don't consider myself particularly talented. I could probably get a passing grade on singing and I'm decent at a few other things, but I don't think there's anything in particular that I'm especially "above average" at. I am EXTREMELY talented at being a geek, but I don't think that really counts.
If I were forced to pick a talent, I would think that it would be my skills in the kitchen and pretty much anything pertaining to household matters. Isn't that astonishingly boring? But to be honest, I'm fair at coming up with new ways to use ingredients and my make-it-up-as-I-go meals usually turn out to be my best. I'm also pretty good at juggling all the other household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, tending the garden and managing the finances while still allowing myself ample free time. I'm big on minimizing so that there is less to clean. It actually helps to break your clutter addiction. You'd be amazed at how much more time you have when you don't have to dust all those little meaningless knick-knacks around the house. It may be an odd think to think I'm talented at, but I feel it's honorable and it does make me proud.
Today is my last day at work for the week, so I'm really stoked about that. But, MM and I are exhausted because we've been getting terrible sleep for the last month. Last night started out promising, with both of us in a deep sleep, but that was shattered by the dogs freaking out over some unknown animal/person outside. It woke us both up with a start and MM couldn't get back to sleep for over an hour and it took me three hours to conk back out. I'm hoping that this weekend will present some restful situations. Otherwise, I might go bonkers!!
