But, I'm sure that God hears my thankfulness for the big things in my life and is also happy to hear me be thankful for the small things. That being said, today I'm thankful for something that may seem a little silly to some. Today, I'm super thankful for modern technology, more specifically, Skype.
Last night, Bunny and I got to Skype with her Auntie Crowbar for over an hour. We also got to say hello to Bunny's great-grandparents, Papa & Baba. It was so much fun and I am so glad we got to "see" Auntie Crowbar before this Sunday.
Why this Sunday, you ask? Because Auntie Crowbar is also Auntie Awesome and is leaving Sunday to go on a mission trip to the mountains of Peru with her church.

Yep, that's her. Cruising off to meet her friends for a Sunday afternoon ride. Auntie Crowbar is a wonderful, selfless person and I know that she has given her life over to God's will for her. She is such a great influence for Bunny. I hope Bunny pays attention as she gets older and learns a lot from her!
Our prayers are going up for Crowbar as she heads off to witness to the people of Peru. We are praying for the safety of her and all others on the trip as well as God's work to be done. Would you join me in praying for them? They are leaving Sunday, July 1 and will return on July 10. We get regular email updates from the team captain, so we have a good idea of how she's doing while she's gone. I will also be sure to jump on after she gets back to post about her return.
