Monday Questionnaire

I felt like posting today, but didn't know what in the world I should post about.  Well, a quick Google search revealed a random questionnaire, so I decided I would roll with it.  Who knows?  Maybe this will become a weekly feature and I'll learn more about myself through it!



Mood:  Peaceful.  After having family visit this weekend, the house is empty except for the three of us.  I cannot wait for the relative quiet that is waiting for us at the end of the day.

When making a sandwich, do you care if one of the bread slices is the end of the loaf?  Heck yes I care!  It's like the deformed cousin of real bread...it's not worthy of a sandwich or even toast!  The heel of the bread is the red-headed stepchild of the loaf.  It grosses me out and I don't quite know why.  It just does. 

I mean, look at it.  It's grody!  I would like to find some packaged bread that omits the heel.  Wouldn't it be great to go find a bag of bread where all the slices are edible?!  That'd be my dream loaf.

What is the weather like today?  Beautiful.  Blue skies, 64*F, no harsh wind.  The perfect day for a picnic.  Too bad I'm stuck in the office!

Current nail polish:  Pshaw!  Nail polish?  You're kidding, right?  This Mama of a 5 1/2 month-old barely has time to chew off her hang nails, let alone take the time to polish!

What ring setting do you keep your cell phone on at night: loud or silent?  (Or completely off?!)  I wish I could keep it completely off, but alas, the cell phone is the "wake-up-you-have-to-pump" signal on weekday mornings.  The ringer is on vibrate and the alarm is as quiet as I possibly can set it and still hear it to wake up.

Current outfit:  Blue patterned, 3/4 sleeve knit shirt that is a size or two too-big.  A brown ribbed tank to prevent inappropriate cleavage-bearing as a result of aforementioned too-big shirt.  Favorite dark wash jeans.  Pink and brown Ariat boots.

What is your favorite Disney movie?  I'd say The Nightmare Before Christmas because it's TECHNICALLY Disney's, but I consider that Tim Burton's, so it doesn't count.  Therefore, my favorite one is going to have to be Alice In Wonderland.  I love how creative the illustrators had to be in order to bring Lewis Carroll's words to the screen and how the movie just reeks of fantasy.

Can you whistle while using your fingers?  Nope.  Not even a little bit.

When doing laundry, do you separate loads (lights, darks, delicates, and etc.) or throw everything together?  I'm a bit OCD, so what do you think.  Also, Bunny's clothes have to be washed in special detergent and without fabric softener, my shirts are mostly hand-wash, and I've had far too many socks turn pink or blue on account of not separating.  So yes, I separate.  Meticulously.

Weekly goals: 

1. Drink more water...I'm woefully deficient.
2. Take a nice, long walk.  With or without the family.
3. Eat what makes me feel good.  (Note: not what TASTES good.)
4. Pray earnestly and fervently.
5. Devour God's word as much as possible.
6. Work hard and be the example I need to be to my fellow employees.
7. Continue to enjoy moments like this with my whole heart and every ounce of attention I have:
