Bath Towels and Baby Bottles

Who knew that having a little Bunny could be so much fun? I swear she's the most adorable kid I've ever seen. I miss her while I'm at work, I miss her while I'm pumping and MM is holding her on the couch (in the same room, mind you), and I miss her while she's sleeping. It definitely helps that God has blessed us with such a good-natured little girl.

Her two-month birthday was Wednesday and her 9-week birthday is today and she is already sleeping 8 hours through most nights. We (well, MM, since I already have to get up to pump) only have to get up in the middle of the night about twice a week to change and feed her and she usually falls back to sleep pretty quickly. She eats well, whether from the breast or the bottle, and seemingly regardless of who is feeding her, and is gaining and growing healthfully. She is such a happy baby and rarely fusses unless something is really bothering her. Her happiest times seem to be right after she has been fed after a nap (what a life she lives). She always has a huge grin for MM and I then. She is still exclusively fed breast milk and I plan on keeping it that way until she's at least 6 months old. (Well, as far as milk goes. We will add in solids when she's showing that she's ready.)

We seem to have a really good schedule going during the week and all 3 of us typically make it to our respective destinations on time. I hate dropping her off at daycare every morning, but we love her provider and all of the other little ones that she watches. I get anxious for 5:00 p.m. to roll around so that I can go pick her up and MM waits anxiously for us to get home.

All in all, I can honestly say that we are loving life right now. We're a little tired, sure, and the house is a mess and don't even ask me about the nutritional content of our meals lately, but it is still pure bliss. Every evening includes playtime and cuddles with my two favorite people on the planet and I couldn't ask for more!

And here's a pic of a very proud Daddy after giving Bunny her bath.

Presenting: the cutest kid in my world wrapped up in her bath towel. Would ya look at those cheeks?!
