Menu Plan Monday: May 2

Breakfasts: Cereal, Egg burritos, Low-sodium V8, Skim Milk

Lunches: Packing lunch all week: PB&J w/ fruit

Dinners:

MONDAY: Spaghetti and Salad

TUESDAY: Leftovers

WEDNESDAY: Slow Cooker Hawaiian Chicken

THURSDAY: Leftovers

FRIDAY: "Mama Weaver's Meatloaf" and Roasted Potatoes

SATURDAY: Grilled steaks w/ Seasonal veggies

SUNDAY: "On-our-own"


This is another one of those weeks where I'm trying to use what's in the house rather than buy too many groceries. I cut our grocery budget by $200 this month, so it's going to be a challenging month, but I know we can do it!

I do the same thing - try to use what we already have. We only go grocery shopping every other week, and it seems to help us save more money.
