My favorite song!! How could I just pick one?!?! Well, I will, just for the purpose of this blog. My favorite song in the whole world is "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What A Wonderful World" as performed by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. I just love the beautiful Hawaiian ukulele and the innocence in his voice. It's really inspiring and uplifting to me. Listening to this song makes me happy and sad all at once and I love the rush of emotions it brings me.
I had to throw my second favorite song in just for good measure. It's "Amber" by 311. That's always my cool-down song after a work out. I just love the line, "nothing good comes easily, sometimes you've got to fight." Isn't that the truth?!
I just realized this, but I have to make note of it. Both of these songs are on the "50 First Dates" soundtrack and that's one of my favorite movies. How funny is that?
