I've been putting off posting this for a while. I think the main reason is that it is my 100th post and I felt like I should have something great to post. Well, I don't. :) Life right now is wonderfully enjoyable and I've been far too blissed-out to bother coming around. That's not to say that I've forgotten my blogging friends. I still come back daily to see what everyone's been posting about, I just haven't posted myself. So, I've just decided to come and get it over with. It's high time I get past the high expectations I've given myself about this milestone and just get through it!
We've fallen into Fall quite nicely and I'm really ready for the chilly weather that keeps me curled up on the sofa, crocheting away. Our vacation to Ruidoso, NM with the family was wonderful and I really can't wait to share some of the great pictures that we took. I may do that this weekend, but then again, I may not. I started the baking of the pumpkin-fortified desserts and breads, so Jason is really loving things right now. This weekend, though, will be dessert and bread-free so that I can get back on track with my weight loss program. I haven't done too well, what with the vacation, family visiting and being out of town for work. It's just a minor setback, though, and I know where I stand and what I need to do.
Oh, yeah, there was another reason I'm posting now. My crochet hooks have been pulled out of hiding and are now ready and raring to go for the new scarf season. That being said, I'm giving away a hand-made by me scarf! Just leave a comment letting me know what your favorite thing about fall is, and I will select a random winner on October 9th. Please be sure to leave me some way to get a hold of you if you win, whether that be an email address or a link to your blog. Just an FYI, the scarf hasn't been started yet, but it will be a "crazy scarf" using several different yarns and possibly several different stitches. They're a lot of fun and really can be worn with anything, so that's why I like making them!
Okay, now to get back to work! As always, thanks for reading and I hope you're having a blessed day!

good to see a blog from you again!:) Glad you had fun with your family! I love pumpkins in the fall...I don't love the color orange but for some reason I just think pumpkins are beautiful...I can't wait to take the boys to the pumpkin patch this year!
I love the fact that my kids are soooo excited about the cooler weather we have been having! 57 degrees on the way to school, and they are all bundled up in their "winter" coats. So cute! And pumpkns...love pumpkins!
