Being Halloweenies!

Today was a great day. I got up and went to work and spent most of the morning cleaning up and reorganizing my desk area. Jason had the day off since he's been working so hard and traveling quite a bit lately. I got off and ran a few errands; grocery shopping, the bank and the bookstore to pick up Jason's new book. I got home and ate lunch and only then did I realize that I hadn't gotten any candy for the kiddos. So, we hopped in the truck and ran to the store for way too many bags of candy.

The rest of the day was spent relaxing, baking 4 loaves of pumpkin bread and preparing for the night.

We've been watching Ghost Hunters Live since 7 p.m. I've been texting back and forth with Karen most the night. I'm really disappointed that she didn't get to come out for the Halloween extravaganza, but that's okay. There'll be other times for us to hang out here in Alpine. Jason and I actually cooked up a great plan for the next time her and Eric come out. It involves a road trip south, a cabin and Big Bend National Park. We'll be making plans soon, I hope.

Tomorrow we're repairing my dresser, doing laundry, putting away the Halloween decor and getting the house clean. Sounds like fun, right? Actually, Saturdays are always fun here.

Well, I feel I've been rambling for long enough. Besides, the doggies are laying next to me on the couch and all it does is remind me that I want to be in bed right now. Good night!!
